How Invisalign Treatment Works
How Invisalign® Treatment Works
Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear, removable and comfortable aligners that gradually work to straighten your teeth and align your bite as you wear them 22 hours a day.
To create the aligners, we take a digital and comfortable scan of your teeth with our new, modern iTero scanner. These digital images allow the makers of Invisalign treatment to create a series of aligners that are individually matched to your smile as it straightens each week.
Throughout your treatment, you can remove the aligners for eating and brushing your teeth. As you wear them during the day and at night, the aligners gradually move your teeth into place. You will change into new aligners approximately every 7-14 days as your teeth shift and when there is no gap between your teeth and the aligners.
Patient compliance in wearing the aligners 22 hours a day is necessary for the best and fastest results.
