Dr. Justin Power
As a child who looked forward to going to the dentist, Dr. Power is especially passionate about the technical side of dentistry and the difference it can make in a patient's self-esteem. Orthodontics is rewarding for him, because it is minimally invasive to patients and patients enjoy coming to appointments.
Raised in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Dr. Power earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
He currently serves as a clinical assistant professor for the OU College of Dentistry, sharing his knowledge and experiences about orthodontics and Invisalign treatment with dental students and orthodontic graduate students. He is also the attending orthodontic faculty for the University of Oklahoma cleft lip and palate craniofacial team at the John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center.
Dr. Power has served on a council and various task forces for the American Association of Orthodontists and currently, serves as the president of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Power participates in a study group comprised of various doctors in different dental fields to discuss treatment planning and difficult cases.
Although Dr. Power is now a dedicated Orthodontist, he also grew up with a passion for music graduating from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelors of Music in saxophone performance. In his free time, Dr. Power enjoys cycling, landscaping, motorsports and spending time with his wife Nicole and his two children Samantha and Ben. Dr. Power and his family are members of Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City, where he is also a leader in the Cub and Boy Scouting programs. As an eagle scout, Dr. Power is a passionate supporter of the scouting programs in our area.
